Stellar Wave Montessori Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Stellar Wave Montessori! Before you proceed with our tutoring services, please read the following Terms of Service carefully. By checking the box below, you agree to be bound by these terms.

  1. Payment Terms
    Your tutoring session appointment is reserved for you ONLY AFTER successful payment. 

    There is a 10% discount when you purchase a 10-session package. Make sure you purchase the correct package. There is NO DISCOUNT for individually booked sessions, even if you have paid for 10 or more sessions. 

    Sessions in a package must be used within two months of purchase.

  2. Rescheduling and Cancelling Lessons

    When you pay for a session or package, you immediately receive an email with booking instructions and links. You can use that link to reschedule your session anytime before 72 hours of the session. After this window, you no longer have the option to reschedule. I understand that students get sick, so in that case 24-hour notice may not be possible. In case a student is sick, we will try to reschedule to meet during the same week, or we will meet one extra time the following week.

    Recurring lesson packages can be cancelled with 4 weeks written notice to admin@stellarwavemontessori.com. The setup fee is NOT REFUNDABLE in any case. If I cancel before completing the package, I will lose the discounted rate and will be charged at the standard rate of $50/30 min or $100/1 hour. A refund, if any, will be provided for the remaining cost. 

  3. Teacher Absences
    If I am unable to attend the session due to sickness or another unforeseen event, the session will be rescheduled within the following two weeks. A refund will only if rescheduling is not possible.

  4. Lesson Recordings
    All lessons will be recorded for record-keeping and quality control purposes.

  5. Respect
    Stellar Wave Montessori is founded on the belief that all children deserve to be treated with kindness and respect. Tutors deserve the same treatment. Any abusive behaviour towards tutors may result in your dismissal as a client, and appropriate refund policies will apply (see point 2).

  6. Prepared Environment and Materials

    A prepared environment is a MUST. Students should be in a calm and quiet place with the materials required for the session. (Discussed with parents during the first sessions of assessment). The student must come to class prepared with something to write on and something to write with. Please be nearby so the students can come and get you in the event they need assistance with technology. The student’s camera and mic should be on for the entire meeting.

  7. Stellar Wave Montessori reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions without prior notice.

By booking Stellar Wave Montessori services, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to the Terms of Service outlined above.
